To support rural Guatemalan schools, clinics and non-government organizations in their efforts to provide education, health care and opportunities to poor and marginalized peoples in Guatemala.

Partners in Solidarity is a 501 c 3 non- profit organization based out of Portland and Eugene, Oregon. The project was started in 2000, by a group of friends who volunteered, traveled and supported grass root projects in Guatemala .

The philosophy of Partners in Solidarity is to live up to its name. We are Partners with over 60 rural schools, clinics, orphanages, woman's groups, and non-government organizations serving highland communities in the Departments of Quetzaltenango, Solola, San Marcos,Huehuetenango and Guatemala.

We stand in Solidarity with the people of Guatemala by supporting locally initiated and managed projects that provide communities with social programs, education, health care and opportunities.
